Dry Cup
Dry Cup
The Phonak hearing aid drying cup can be used both for drying (combined with Phonak drying capsules) and for cleaning hearing aids (combined with Phonak cleaning tablets).
Drying: Carefully remove the sound tube from the hearing aid. Remove the sieve from the container and place a drying capsule in the bottom of the empty container. Place the earpiece with the hearing tube (not the hearing aid itself) on the sieve and insert the sieve into the container. Screw the lid on the container and let it stand - preferably overnight.
Cleaning: Carefully remove the sound tube from the hearing aid. Take the sieve out of the cleaning cup and fill the cup ¾ with water. Put a cleansing tablet in the water. Place the tube with the earplug (not the hearing aid itself) on the sieve and immerse it in the water. Let it stand for at least 15 minutes. Then take the strainer out of the container and rinse the earpiece with water. Any liquid residue can be blown out of the earpiece with a Phonak Air Puffer. Replace the cleaning fluid after each cleaning for hygienic reasons.
